The School has been running a residential course annually for 30

years, except for 2020 which was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

In addition to our Melbourne trainees, it has been attended

by trainees from other training courses, and Alexander teachers.

If you have had prior experience in the Alexander technique you may

apply to attend the course.

The course fee includes tuition, single room accommodation and

delicious vegetarian meals.

In 2027 our guest teacher is Bob Britton who will be visiting us from the

USA.

Robert Britton graduated in 1978 from the Alexander Training Institute-SF (Frank Ottiwell and Giora Pinkas). In addition to his private practice in San Francisco, he has taught the Alexander Technique to musicians at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music since 1984. He served as the Chairman of the American Society for the Alexander Technique, and was a director of the 2011 International Congress of the Alexander Technique. He has helped train Alexander Technique Teachers since 1989, and regularly gives workshops to Alexander Teachers around the World.

Other teachers from the school will include David Moore and Jenny Thirtle.

The course starts at noon on the Wednesday and ends at noon on Sunday. We have a very full program starting with yoga at 7am and continuing to the late afternoon, and for some days into the evening as well. We take a three hour break for lunch in the middle of the day, which gives us time to rest, explore the surrounding bush, or to go into Healesville for a coffee.​

You can book in with a $400 deposit which is non-refundable
The balance is due April 1. If you pay in full before then and

have to cancel we will refund the full amount less $400 deposit
