Making you Knees last for a lifetime
This is a practical workshop in which we will examine and apply the Alexander technique protect, strengthen and improve the knees. Participants will be introduced to principles of the Alexander technique in order to better understand the direct influence whole body balance and coordination has upon the knees.
The workshop will also cover practical anatomy, how to carry out everyday activities without stressing the knees and several simple and safe exercises to strengthen and stabilize the knee joints.
This workshop will be followed by three other workshops over Saturday from 2 - 5pm and Sunday 10 - 5pm, going deeper into the Alexander technique and its application to yoga, voice and everyday activities, which you can join if you wish.
