Getting up from the floor

What I notice frequently in my yoga classes is the clumsy way which people get down to and up from the floor. This video shows how to use the Alexander technique to remove excess work and tension from these movements.
I found this a really clear demonstration of how to get up and down from the floor - now to practice it always thinking of not putting the head back and tightening at all. I also found a cushion under the knee for going down and up helpful as have athritic knees. Lesley
